"I always wanted to do this and today just seemed like the day to do it! There must have been something in those eggs!" said Shaun on the car ride out.

It was a family affair with Shaun and his mom and dad stepping up to the plate and going for it! Way to go mom and dad!

The crew rallied from Encinitas out to the outskirts of San Diego, where quickly we left civilization behind and soon we were winding our way through the desert. As the temperature was climbing outside the car nearing 100+ degrees, our nerves were skyrocketing inside it. Can you imagine jumping out of a plane! No one in had ever done it before, so needless to say, we were all scared!

We pulled up to San Diego Sky Diving and right as we are driving up a guy holding a parachute comes walking across the road! WHAT What are we doing! Shaun looks at me and cracks a Red Bull, we are going to need that extra kick!

We head into the office and begin the rigorous task of filling out release after release. To alleviate our concerns and settle the nerves, we begin making idle chitchat with the girl behind the desk.

"So, this is totally safe right?" Shaun asks.

"No, of course it isn't safe! You're jumping out of an airplane! There's nothing safe about that!" she said.

We had a comedian on our hands and no one was laughing.

It happens faster than you would think. One minute you are hanging around the office, and then next thing you know the plane is off the ground and there is no turning back!
