Winter is upon us and Shaun is already on the road! The Burton World Tour passed through New York City and Chicago last weekend and it was a sight to be seen! It's a madhouse once you get on the road...and some times you just can't get enough!
Flying from California to the East Coast is always a trip. We took off out of LA and left the 90 degree sun and surf for the reality of Fall and a blustery New York day, and honestly it was a nice change. We met up with the crew from Burton and made our way around the city and then to the autograph signing where fans from all over the place came out to get stoked on the upcoming winter!
To everyone that was out that day, thanks for making it out! It is so great to see everyone one excited about snow. We spent a an extra day in NYC just checking out the sights, but before long it was tarmac time again, back on the road and into the heartland of America-Chicago! ...Continue reading below
The Windy City
Chicago is the kind of city that feels like it has something to hide. Not in a bad way, just in a secret way. There is something beneath all of those bundled up masses, but what it is is always the great and exciting unknown. Fall is the time of year where winter blows in and out on an hourly basis. It was also home to one of America's most infamous mobsters, Al Capone. This means that the cab rides feel more like police escorts and the bars more like speakeasy's than clubs. It is a city that has a history. Good or bad, take it or leave it-this is the way Chicago wants to be seen.
From wild mob chases through the city streets in police cars to autograph signings and movie premieres, it was a night that lived up to the city's history...and then some. Check out these shots from the trip and watch for more as the Burton World Tour hits LA on Friday!

I love Shaun white. I first found out who he was when I was 8 and I am now almost 18. I think he is hot with his long hair, nad he dosnt need to cut it. He has been my favorite athlete for over 9 years. He is amazing at what he does and there is SO much I want to tell him, he has helped me through a lot of hard stuff in my life, and this stuff is intense. But I cant find his fan mail address anywhere, and I think that he REALLY needs to read my letter. He is my hero, also. Everything hed oes is incredible and I would literally do anything to even get a letter from him. But I doubt that will ever happen, ive been trying for the past 3 years to get an address..
I think that he needs to get a haircut, that's what I think. But if he did, Shaun White would be very attractive, I think.
OMG THATS CHRISTIAN AND SHAUN!!! I WAS IN FRONT OF THAT KID IN LINE AT THE NYC STOP!! CONGRATS CHRISTIANNNNNN!!!
met Shaun at the recent party in NYC. Got an autograph for my 5 year-old little shredder of 3 years Erin! As a 25-year veteran snowboarder, I have had the priviledge to meet many of the legends and greats. You are truly one of the greats! My only concern for you is that you looked pretty tired. Keep up the good work! My snowboarding family and I are very proud of all your accomplishments!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Now go get some sleep son! -Michael
